“We are creating a village style atmosphere that supports an upmarket destination appeal with a balanced blend of neighbourhood services and food in one central location.”
“We have been very considerate of what will be a very diverse customer base, from residents, workers, commuters, locals and tourists – day/night, weekdays and weekends.”
Mr John added that Southpoint’s retail precinct is well placed to capitalise on the robust market characteristics of the South Brisbane catchment, as well as being located in Brisbane’s premier tourist destination, South Bank, which boasts over 10 million visitors per annum.
“Southpoint is home to Flight Centre’s new global headquarters, housing over 2,000 staff and over 1,000 residents will call it home when the apartments are completed in early 2018. Adding to this the newly upgraded South Bank train station, with direct access from the upper level promenade, sees over 60,000 commuters utilise it every week.”
“We are very proud to be partnering with such notable operators, all of who share our passion for quality and delivering customers a great experience. This will be an exciting, vibrant urban hub which we look forward to enriching with the opening our new flagship Emporium Hotel Southpoint in early 2018.”
