Located at 300 George Street by the Brisbane River, the mixed-use development is a joint venture between Shayher Group and Pau Jar Group of Taiwan. The development will be comprised of three separate towers – W Brisbane will occupy one tower, while the other two towers will be used for premium office and commercial space and high-end residences. The development will also feature podium level retail outlets.

  • Not bad- im all for growth and all that…

I think what Brisbane needs, with all respect to W hotels, is a serious top shelf hotel- like a ritz carlton, intercontinental etc…
W hotels cater to a younger cashed up crowd like the emporium already in Brisbane.

  • Exactly what Brisbane needs a real 5 star hotel/service.. W hotels are many steps ahead of intercontinental and all the rest. Comparing to emporium doesn’t make much sense!!

  • I am not a fan of the design- it looks too much like a giant iPhone. Unique though- not many worldwide that have this design.
