Turrisi Properties is about to launch West End’s newest residential address, The Glass Factory West End Apartments, located at 57 Vulture Street, West End.

The boutique development comprises 47 one, two and three bedroom apartments priced from $370,000 and will be released for sale at 8am, on September 7.

Local West End based architect, RotheLowman White have carefully crafted a design which captivates heritage inspired themes of the former industrial glazing factory, and combines it to form a stylish boutique urban development.

Turrisi Properties Managing Director, Gaetano Turrisi said, “We have sought to harness the heritage of the site and deliver a project in harmony with the surrounds. We were attracted to the opportunity as The Glass Factory will enjoy sweeping views of the Brisbane skyline to the north and over the village rooftops and trees to West End’s south in a lifestyle pocket with virtually no other supply.

Mr Turrisi said, “The inner south precinct of South Brisbane and West End is now recognised as Australia’s premier residential investment precinct”.

Turrisi Properties is a Brisbane based developer who has worked closely with local consultants on the development of the project that will speak primarily to the local market.

CBRE Residential Projects Managing Director Paul Barratt is extremely excited by the release of The Glass Factory, “The project is located on one of the best development sites in West End, located on a beautifully elevated rise connecting the dining precinct of Hardgrave Road and West End’s Vulture Street and Boundary Street scramble crossing.

“This is an unbeatable location, right in the heart of West End, close to schools, restaurants and entertainment,”

“The Glass Factory is a very sophisticated and distinguished development. The successful bond of natural luxurious finishes with factory chic style with resonate with a willing market.

Mr Barratt said, “The Inner South new unit market is very strong due to limited supply and strong location fundamentals. The boutique nature of The Glass Factory combined with its prominent hill top position, stylish exterior, industrial chic interiors and fantastic value leads us to believe that the project will be oversubscribed at its launch on 7 September.

Mr Barratt said, “We receive a lot of enquiry for projects in West End. Product of this nature is in high demand and The Glass Factory’s limited supply combined with its premier location; superior design quality and extraordinary price mean that there is a high likelihood of this project selling out at launch. We are encouraging interested inner south buyers to register early and take advantage of the opportunity to preview prior to launch”

Harnessing the industrial heritage of the site, buyers will be able to select from three contemporary colour schemes all featuring Smeg appliances and meticulously selected materials.

Award-winning, national architectural practice, RotheLowman White brings its considerable architectural and interiors experience to bear on this dynamic, residential project. The Glass Factory’s interiors create a sophisticated industrial chic mood that acknowledges West End’s heritage and draws that inside in a contemporary way.

The developer has a very detailed eye and a lot of work has gone into ensuring the project delivers the ultimate West End apartment, featuring a plethora of luxuries such as full air-conditioning and ceiling fans in all bedrooms and living areas, operable external screening on balconies and signature design elements featured throughout the kitchens and bathrooms.

The name, The Glass Factory, not only reflects the heritage of the site but is infused throughout the design and internal finishes with bronze tinted glass splash backs in kitchens and glass cladding on island benches as well as the use of modern pendant feature lighting and genuine breakfast bars.

Apart from the chic and welcoming resident lobby, the ground level of The Glass Factory is entirely retail, spanning three street frontages with the developer looking to secure grocer and deli as well as complimentary cafes and restaurants. Open to the footpath, the activated street offerings are designed to maintain the real inner city neighbourhood feel for which West End is known and loved.

Mr Barratt said, “All apartments at The Glass Factory come with secure basement car parks however with all that West End has to offer within a short walk the car will probably spend a lot more time at home than the residents”.

  • From the developer through to CBRE the purchase of this property has been seamless and each day I think about moving in and enjoying a view over Vulture Street within walking distance to all my favourite places – Avid, Lock and Load, Tashigoto, Shays shoes etc etc – this is a wonderful part of the world

  • Really? I don’t recommend it, 3x a week loud garbage trucks come, and the bin room is in the worst state I have ever seen. Look for yourself.
