The buildings will be dressed up by coloured metal fins angled for protection from the western sun, while the balconies will be enclosed for acoustic protection.  Solid walls will act as additional acoustic mitigation. Each tower will feature articulated slab edges to provide flexible internal partition, while external textured concrete walls will add flare.

The proposal carpark features black painted chainmesh screening with climbing veins for seamless visual connection to adjoining landscaping. Further to this, the application calls for limited planting to the streetscape, this, coupled with the buildings leaves it feeling as a questionable location for residential towers.

The DA number for this development is A004680408.

  • Ugly much! Reminds me of that Jacaranda coloured Clem7 smoke stack in the Gabba! In 10 years this will be a ghetto

  • I trust it will provide good walking and cycling links to the bus station. Quality bus services in the area
