The consortium headed by Crown and Greenland has unveiled its plans for Queens Wharf Integrated Resort Precinct.

Greenland Group and Crown Resorts have offered up a six-star hotel, two five-star hotels, restaurants – including one headed by renowned chef Neil Perry – public space and a bridge (complete with suspended waterfall) to South Bank, where they will build a new cinema and theatre complex, public space, a water park and casino.

Other features of Crown’s proposal includes:

  • BRISBANE’S FIRST LUXURY SIX-STAR HOTEL AND TWO NEW FIVE-STAR HOTELS
    These three new hotels will set the bar for luxury accommodation in Queensland.
  • NEW WATERFALL BRIDGE TO SOUTH BANK
    A new pedestrian bridge to South Bank will feature a breathtaking, suspended waterfall.
  • PROPOSED NEW SOUTH BANK THEATRE
    Proposing to partner with the Queensland Government to construct a new theatre accommodating around 2000 people, which will attract shows currently not coming to Brisbane.
  • A NEW FUNCTION CENTRE UNDER THE STARS
    This unique function space with a transparent glass canopy will hold signature events and accommodate 1,200 people.
  • A NEW PUBLIC SPACE IN THE HEART OF THE CITY
    A sub-tropical public space for locals and tourists with capacity for 8,000 people.
  • WORLD-CLASS CULINARY EXPERIENCES – LED BY CHEFS NEIL PERRY AND GUILLAUME BRAHIMI
    Brisbane locals and visitors will be spoiled by a wide range of signature restaurants and casual dining experiences.
  • INTERACTIVE FAMILY WATER PARK
    For families and children during the day as well as a spectacular lighting feature at night.
  • AUSTRALIA’S FIRST iPIC VILLAGE CINEMAS
    These revolutionary iPic Theatres will treat moviegoers to a new standard of indulgence.
  • 800 SEAT BALLROOM AND FUNCTION CENTRE
    An important asset for growing Brisbane’s convention and conference market.
  • ROOF-TOP GARDEN, INFINITY POOL AND LUXURY SPA
    This lush garden and world-class urban resort is the perfect location for special events.
  • GAMING FLOOR AND ENTERTAINMENT
    The gaming floor will provide a large range of entertainment experiences, including live music, restaurants and Brisbane’s best Sports Bar.
  • BICENTENNIAL BIKEWAY
    Making this bikeway more enjoyable and safer by providing dedicated cycling and pedestrian paths.
  • NIGHTLY 3D LIGHT SHOW
    The Commissariat façade will be transformed every night into an animated 3D light show with accompanying music.
