DA documents have been lodged which reveals plans to build Brisbane’s newest luxury retail store Burberry.

The 278 square metre store is proposed to take up a tenancy in Queens Plaza fronting Edward Street, which is fast becoming known as Brisbane’s new high street for luxury retail brands.

The unveiling of Burberry follows recently announced applications from Paspaley, Bvlgari and Cartier who are soon opening up stores in Queens Plaza / Edward Street. Once complete this will be Burberry’s 6th stand alone retail store in Australia.

I’m quite a fan of Burberry but most of their designs seem to compliment the cooler climates of the world….London, NYC and so on….

I wonder how they’ll go in a city where winter day time temperatures are set to be in the 25 -30°C range in the coming years??
