Earthworks have commenced on 15 Green Square Close, Fortitude Valley which is being developed by The City of Brisbane Investment Corporation Pty Ltd (CBIC). The $123 million dollar CBIC is an investment entity set up by the Brisbane City Council to provide further revenue for Brisbane ratepayers, a similar investment vehicle as the Queensland Government’s Queensland Investment Corporation. Last year the Brisbane Times reported that the CBIC recorded a $34m profit which will go back into the BCC budget. Read More
